"Arrow" Season 4 could see the demise of Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne).

According to Design & Trend, there are at least three reasons why the character may be killed off this season.

First, Captain Lance recently decided to help Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough). However, fans of the hit The CW series all know that he is not really a bad guy. The publication believes that Captain Lance's life could be at risk because he's doing something bad when he is meant to be a good man.

Second, the publication claimed that someone should be killed off on "Arrow" Season 4, and it's necessary that this person will stay dead forever. In the past, some characters have been killed off on the show, but they are always resurrected. Other times, there are rumors that a particular character has been killed off, when in fact he or she is still alive.

"'Arrow' hasn't had to say a permanent goodbye to a main character in a while, and if the show's writers want to remind viewers that their favorite personalities can die, that needs to change," the publication claimed.

Additionally, Captain Lance would have to redeem himself after it was revealed that he's working with Damien. With this, fans believe that it's possible that he will volunteer to have someone take his own life to prove where his loyalty lies.

Meanwhile, the upcoming episode of "Arrow" Season 4, titled "Brotherhood," will see the appearance of John Diggle's brother.

"Team Arrow's ongoing battle with Damien Darhk is complicated by a shocking revelation. Thea's (Willa Holland) bloodlust returns and she loses control in front of Alex (guest star Parker Young)," the official synopsis reads.

A teaser for "Brotherhood" was also released by The CW this week.

"Arrow" Season 4 airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
