"The Walking Dead" Season 6 cast member Ross Marquand recently dropped some details about the upcoming finale episode of the hit AMC series.
In an interview with Comicbook, Marquand said that he's excited to film the upcoming episode this week.
"I was just talking to Andy Lincoln about the finale the other day and I looked at him because I hadn't seen him since I read it and I said, 'What'd ya think?' We both literally just threw our hands up in the air and we were like, 'This is the craziest thing ever, right?'" he said.
The 34-year-old didn't directly divulge details about the characters' fates on "The Walking Dead" Season 6. However, he made sure to tease fans that the finale episode will be an exciting and memorable one.
"I think it's probably the most rot, like emotionally rot, and dark episode I've ever read, regardless of this show or not. I've never seen or read an episode that is so dark and so compelling in my life and that's the God's honest truth," he said.
While reading the script, Marquand reportedly realized how twisted and interesting some of the storylines were. This is why he found himself stopping from reading every now and then, according to Design & Trend.
"I told Andy, I don't normally get so affected by scripts that I have to put them down, but I had to stop reading this at three different times. I couldn't read it, it was messing me up. It was tough to read. It's phenomenal writing but it's just so emotionally dark and twisted that we had to put it down several times," he explained.
"The Walking Dead" Season 6 will air its finale episode sometime in April 2016. The show airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
