Minecraft creator Mojang released Minecraft Update 1.9 snapshot 15w46a this week, the second of a series of update previews. The update focused primarily on fixing the bugs being continually experienced by the gaming community.
The developers of Minecraft are focusing more on fixing bugs thus the long bug fix on the 15w46 snapshot, and there are speculations that the next big update may be coming out soon enough. Last week's update dealt with the various bugs discovered during the snapshot process.
Aside from the bug fix, Minecraft snapshot 15w46a's also introduced a new feature called "fallen trees." There is still no news or updates regarding the Minecraft update 1.9 release date. Yet fans are still getting excited knowing that Mojang typically releases exterminator caps or bug fixes to mark a countdown for the release of major updates.
According to Neurogadget, Mojang is known as a studio that doesn't want to promise content on a certain date, regardless of the condition of the upcoming update. Mojang rather waits until it is absolutely confident about the new update before releasing it for the general public to enjoy.
The Minecraft Update 1.9 snapshot 15w46a includes the newly introduced fallen trees. Also, changes of redstone dust hitbox have been made, the Sprinting no longer stops for a while and mobs no longer spawn on rails.
There are also loot changes including a bug fix that caused the 3rd person view to revert to 1st person view when a user's character's head goes inside a block has been made. Also, a bug that was causing the breaking doors to move the other part of the door has been fixed.
IPv6 is now working properly, bugs on the breaking doors and powered rails are also fixed. Another fix was made on a bug that was causing end portal frames to act like solid blocks, and players are now allowed to see the Horse Health in Creative mode.
Another bug fix was made to boats that appear to be sunken in water, a bug causing guardians to spawn in random places has also been fixed. The developers also fixed a bug that was enabling doors to have no placement sound.
