Fans of the series "Orphan Black" still have to wait for the announcement of the official release date of Season 4, but various storylines of the upcoming season have already been teased. The show's executive producers recently dished a few details about the show, which include information on Helena (Tatiana Maslany) and Donnie's (Kristian Bruun) "interesting" relationship and the reappearance in new episodes of Krystal, the newly introduced clone in Season 3.

In the EPs' recent interview with Buddy TV, they discussed Helena and Donnie's evolving relationship, which was hinted in the latter part of Season 3. The producers said that they didn't expect fans' positive reception of the characters' "interesting" relationship, so when the fans went for it, they decided to stick Helena with Alison and Donnie.

Design & Trend also reports that according to the interview, Krystal, the new clone, was supposed to be killed off early in Season 3. However, Maslany, who also plays the character, managed to come up with a unique voice for the character, so the EPs decided to feature her further. Now it's yet to be seen in "Orphan Black" Season 4 if Krystal will finally find out that she's a clone and that she has other "sisters." One of the EPs, Fawcett, even said, "Do we give her the red pill or do we give her the blue pill?"

With the show's evolving story and different enemies in every season, one can't help but wonder how far the creators can take the series' plot. Apparently, the producers already have an elastic end point/end game in mind, and according to them, if they manage to reach it in Season 4 or the following season, they can still figure out a way to reboot the show.

"Orphan Black" Season 4 will premiere on BBC in spring 2016.
