"The Flash" Season 2 and "Arrow" Season 4 will have a crossover episode in the coming weeks.

According to Design & Trend, the crossover episode will air on The CW on Dec. 1 and Dec. 2. The episode that will air on "The Flash's" timeslot will be called "Legends of Today," while the second part will be called "Legends of Yesterday."

In an interview with Deadline, executive producer Marc Guggenheim dished on what fans can expect from the episodes.

"There's a lot of things that are really cool about this year's crossover. One of which is the fact that there really is a true 2-part story, unlike last year, where it was two interconnected episodes where each had their own beginning, middle and end," he said.

Meanwhile, fans can also expect to see some characters from the upcoming series "Legends of Tomorrow."

"It feels like an episode of 'The Flash' and then an episode of 'Arrow' that just so happens to introduce us to some new characters who will be a big part of 'Legends of Tomorrow,'" Guggenheim said.

In other news, it was also confirmed that both hit The CW shows will share a common villainous character, and this will be Vandal Savage (Casper Crump).

The CW dropped a synopsis for the episodes that reads, "Vandal Savage arrives in Central City and sets his sights on Kendra Saunders (Ciara Renee). After Vandal attacks Kendra and Cisco, they turn to Barry (Grant Gustin) for help."

"Oliver and Barry take Kendra Saunders and Carter Hall to a remote location to keep them hidden from Vandal Savage while they figure out how to defeat him."

"Legends of Yesterday" will also feature a special storyline between Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards).

"The Flash" Season 2 and "Arrow" Season 4 airs Tuesdays at Wednesdays on The CW.
