"Attack on Titan: Junior High" episode 7 gets split impressions from its critics. On a different light, its collaboration campaign visuals with "Noragami Aragoto" have been posted.
Anime News Network reports that episode 7 of "Attack on Titan: Junior High" is another "mediocre" week. It is noted that the plot appears basic for a comedy series, but as a whole nothing spectacular happens that could wow the critic.
ANN says that the story of "Attack on Titan: Junior High" episode 7 is simple. "The upperclassmen were freshmen once too, so maybe we should all get along." With that, it is obvious that it "falls flat because it's exactly the kind of thing that wouldn't fly in 'Attack on Titan'-it would probably end with somebody getting killed instead."
But the whole episode of "Attack on Titan: Junior High" was not totally a scrap because ANN says that it has an entertainment value, which is credited to the "micro-interactions between the characters." So the online magazine, gives episode 7 a rating of B-.
On the contrary, Fandom Post has a different take. According to its review, "Attack on Titan: Junior High" episode 7 is still "a great episode all-around." The critic said that everything came "all together in a well-balanced," although it is noticeable that it has "frantically-paced (But in a good way) collage of comedy that once again tailors to viewers of the original series."
The critic also mentioned that the motivational speech of Mikasa was in a sense impressive. In fact it is one "callback to be added to the constantly-growing list of AoT allusions that Junior High is bringing us." The overall rating of the crictic for "Attack on Titan: Junior High" episode 7 is A-
On different news, Crunchyroll reports that the visual of the "Attack on Titan: Junior High" and "Noragami Aragoto" collaboration campaign has been posted and revealed to the media in Japan. Report says that this collaboration is materialized because these two TV anime series are "featuring two same voice actors as their leads, Hiroshi Kamiya and Yuuki Kaji. Kamiya voices Yato in the former and Levi in the latter, while Kaji plays Yukine and Yeren Yeager."
Aside from having two the same voice actors for "Attack on Titan: Junior High" and "Noragami Aragoto," the manga series of these 2 anime are being published by the Kodansha. The "Attack on Titan" manga of Hajime Isayama has been serialized Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, while "Noragami" of Adachitoka has been released in Monthly Shonen Magazine.
The posters that feature the visual will be exhibited "at Ikebukuro Station in Tokyo till November 22 and in trains of the Seibu Railways run through Tokyo till December 15."
