The parents in "Nashville" Season 4 will deal with a lot of issues in the new episode of the show airing this week.

According to Christian Post, the official synopsis for "Nashville" Season 4 episode 8 reveals that Rayna (Connie Britton) and Deacon (Charles Esten) will be working on a plan to deal with Maddie's (Lennon Stella) desperate decision to start her career, while Rayna's ex, Luke (Will Chase), will be dealing with his son and his trust issues.

According to the report, Maddie has been trying desperately to start her own career, but she believes that the one thing preventing her to do so is her own mother. In the promo video for the episode, Rayna and Maddie can be seen arguing as Rayna thinks that Maddie is still too young to have a solo career.

Meanwhile, Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) will be dealing with her postpartum depression after she decided to get help and go to rehab. In episode 7, Juliette silently checked in Horizons Rehab Center, and for a while, she forgot that she was responsible for Jeff's (Oliver Hudson) death. When she eventually remembers though, things turned for the worse for her.

Juliette's life came spiraling down after she gave birth to her child and chose to leave her family for her career. Her husband got tired of her and asked for a divorce. Some believe that the post-partum storyline of Juliette's story could be in line with what the actress is dealing in her real life right now. Hayden Panettiere was diagnosed a few months back with postpartum depression and said that she needed to go on medical leave.

According to Venture Capital Post, executive producer Dee Johnson denied the rumors that the show is crafting Juliette's story based on Panettiere's real life problems. She also revealed that Panettiere will be back on the show soon.

"Nashville" Season 4 episode 8 will air tonight on ABC.
