Jenny McCarthy blasts Charlie Sheen for hiding his HIV-positive condition from his co-stars for four years. McCarthy once played Sheen's love interest on the television show "Two And A Half Men."

An article on Hollywoodlife.com stated that the 43-year-old actress now feels furious and betrayed that this secret was kept from her and her fellow actors, and angry that he could have put others at risk. She aired her disgust about Charlie Sheen's hiding HIV-positive status in her Sirius radio show Dirty Sexy Funny on November 18.

McCarthy mentioned in her radio show that Hollywood is very strict with actors revealing any medical condition that they may have which could affect their fellow actors. This is especially true when they are doing a love scene with another actor.

"Before we do a job, we have to sign a piece of paper that says 'do you have cold sores,' you have to sign a release and show the medication," she said. "If I have to be upfront about a herpe, how could you not be upfront about HIV?"

She stressed her concern about Sheen's condition especially since she was one of his love interests on the show, "It's not that you can obviously get it through kissing, but still it's a big deal."

Charlie Sheen has revealed that he is HIV-positive on the Today show on November 17. The actor claimed that it is 'impossible' that he has transmitted HIV to anyone and that he has told every sexual partner that he had, no exception. The 50-year-old actor also said that he is completely aware of the law that it is illegal to engage in sexual intercourse with someone without divulging his condition.

Meanwhile, McCarthy said that she feels sympathy for the actor because of his condition but "He's going to have to take major accountability with many people in his life," she said.
