It's a known fact that "Iron Man" is one most the most popular Marvel comic films to hit the big screen. The adventures of Tony Stark are something that his fans would always look forward to, but recent speculations emerged that "Iron Man" fans would have something to look forward to by the year 2020.

"Iron Man 4" may be long overdue by then as according to Movie News Guide, the movie's delay was due to Robert Downey Jr.'s pay increase demands. Christian Post Entertainment then added that "Downey asked for a fee higher than the $80 million he received from filming "Avengers: Age of Ultron." He reportedly demanded a $50 million salary increase to continue "Iron Man 4."

As per Cross Map website, 2020 would be five years from now, but the new "Iron Man" movie is already on the works [in terms of the story].

As per the Marvel comic book writer, Brian Bendis, Mary Jane Watson will be joining Tony Stark with his new adventures. Though Bendis didn't specify if Mary Jane would be Tony Stark's new love interest, he did however gave out the comic book's title which is "Invincible Iron Man."

"They know each other. She used to live in Avengers Tower. But that's all I'm going to say for now because what kind of relationship they end up having is a big part of what I would like people to buy the book for. But what I can tell you is that it is new territory for both Tony and Mary Jane. And that is pretty exciting to write."

Parent Herald then added that Robert Downey Jr. admitted that they are still under negations in terms of his paycheck, but Downey himself revealed that there will be a fourth "Iron Man" installment during his interview with Ellen DeGeneres.

The website also added that Downey "is in fact the next Iron Man" as he posted an Iron Man themed photo on Instagram last September.
