CES 2016, the most awaited tech show of the year is coming near. After the Holiday's fun and New Year's noise, we will be seeing what the CES 2016 has prepared for us.
To give you an idea about the CES 2016's itinerary, here's a summary of all the important dates and events that you need to know about the upcoming show:
The show will run from January 6 to January 9 of 2016 and it will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Samsung, LG, and Sony are just three of the many big names that we are going to see in the big show.
On January 5th, there will be multiple press cons for different companies including, LG, Huawei, Panasonic, TCL, QUALCOMM, Toyota, Asus, Samsung, ZTE, Dish and Sling TV, Kia, and Sony. On the same day, there will also be an Intel keynote address.
On the next day, January 6th, the Netflix keynote address will also take place alongside GM's. On January 7th, Samsung and Youtube will also share their insights through their keynote speeches.
What Is Expected:
As per TechRadar, they got ideas on what to expect from Sony based on the company's invites. With the info gathered, we can expect TV's, tabs, cameras, and wearables. Phones will also be showed off, but whether it's gonna be an unannounced one or something that is already in the market, we are yet to find out.
For the streaming media department, NetFlix's and Youtube's keynote speech will certainly be two of the most anticipated events in the CES 2016. Robert Kyncl, Youtube's Chief Business Officer and Reed Hastings, Netflix's CEO, are both going to offer their insights on stage, with Kyncl giving his speech one day after Reed.
Apart from the streaming media, cars and VR are also expected to show off during the CES. In fact, more than 40 names will expose their VR systems alongside their gaming hardware and accessories. Apart from Sony's PlayStation VR headset, it won't be surprising as well if Oculus takes this chance to discuss to the whole world its 'Oculus Rift' headset, which is expected to launch within the next year's first quarter.
