'Life in Pieces' will show a very timely and apt episode entitled, "Godparent Turkey Corn Farts," which would serve as the series' delectable Thanksgiving episode.

In an exclusive clip from Zap2it, Heather (Betsy Brandt) is a typical wife on a usual Thanksgiving, begging her husband Tim (Dan Bakkedahl) to look for a replacement for their ruined turkey. The man of the house is busy with watching football, as most husbands are on this holiday. Of course, Heather had to deal with other difficulties arising from the very busy day.

Heather tries to give very specific details as to what kind of turkey he needs to buy, given the limited amount of time. The bird must be 16 pounds at the least and must not contain any chemical. She tries her best to remedy the already stressful situation.

Tim, being the obedient husband that he is, makes a list so he won't forget what his better half said. Unfortunately, he forgets his car keys.

Meanwhile, Colleen's (Angelique Cabral) cauliflower dish doesn't sit well with the family and their guest.

The episode will feature a holiday guest named Gary, who was invited by Joan (Dianne West). He is oddly toured in the dining room by a live turkey. The character is played by seasoned actor Martin Mull who is known for his character Crawford Whittemore in 'Dads'.

According to Entertainment Weekly, CBS gave the comedy series a full season order. 'Life in Pieces' talks about the Short family and the different experiences that each of family member faces. The story revolves on parents Joan and Joan, as well as their children Greg, Matt and Heather. Currently, the show has an average of 10.26 million viewers, making it the season's No. 1 comedy.

Watch 'Life in Piece' Thanksgiving episode this Thursday, 8:30 p.m. PT/ET on CBS.
