We have seen Microsoft do its best in creating extremes smartphones. One day they go for a lower midrange affordable smartphone, the next day they introduce a super high end flagship such as the "Microsoft Lumia 950", although, the Microsoft Lumia series arguably do not go as appreciated by the majority of smartphone users as the iOS and Android flagships do.

Still, the company manages to squeeze in top-of-the-ine specs inside a premium looking smartphone. As for the "Microsoft Lumia 950", it boasts of its massive 5.2 inches AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, that is 564 pixel per inch density. The resolution is pretty much better than most phones on the market. Also, the phone is covered with Corning Gorlla Glass 3.

The phone runs Windows 10 and powered by the Snapdragon 808 chipset. For the CPU, the "Microsoft Lumia 950" uses a Dual-core 1.82 GHz Cortex-A57 & quad-core 1.44 GHz Cortex-A53. Furthermore, the phone uses the Adreno 418 GPU and its internal memory is 32 GB. The microSD capacity is also a massive 200 GB and the RAM size isn't compromised as well, it is also a big 3 GB RAM.

Camera-wise, you won't be disappointed with the "Microsoft Lumia 950". It comes with a 20 MP rear cam with 4992 x 3477 pixels, Carl Zeiss optics, optical image stabilization, triple LED RGB flash, and autofocus. It has 1/2.4' sensor size, 1.12 µm pixel size, and PureView technology as well. The rear cam specs is kind of amazing, and way better than most smartphones. However, the front cam is just 5 MP, which isn't so bad either, just not very special.

The Microsoft 2015 flagship also comes with your usual smartphone features such as LTE, WiFi hotspot and Bluetooth connection. Luckily, there is also an FM radio that normally only comes in budget phones. Additionally, the phone boasts of the new Microsoft technology called 'Continuum', plus there is the Wireless Charging and Fast Charging functionality. Furthermore, the phone comes with OneDrive 15 GB cloud storage. The battery is a 3000 mAh battery and its power can last up to 288 hours of 3G standby. Two colors are available - black and white.

"Microsoft Lumia 950" Conclusions

Clearly, the company is moving forward with their flagships, with the "Microsoft Lumia 950" being one serious rival for it's competitors' flagships. The specs are really good, it may actually convince some Android and iOS fans to at least get their hands on the 950 and appreciate the model in all its beauty.
