"Clash of Clans" will have an upcoming major update really soon. Supercell, the game developer, has made the announcement last month during the ClashCon 2015 held in Helsinki. In a surprising move, Supercell announced that fans will have a 2-week sneak peek of the game before its official release. The trial period will start this Nov. 23.
Supercell made the announcement a few days ago about the 2-week sneak peek that will be starting on Monday, Nov. 23. This is so that the fans can have a feel of the changes that will be arriving for the mobile game. This is also to make up for the delay on the long overdue update, as stated on the Supercell forum site.
As stated by Anoushka, a Supercell staff, "We realize this update has been a long update in coming, but we are taking the time we need to make sure all of the delicate upcoming changes are as well tested and well balanced as possible."
Supercell is encouraging the fans to participate in the discussion that will happen on this sneak-peak event. Such topics will include:
Shields - Part I: Attacking and Defending
Shields - Part II: The Village Guard and Personal Break
Matchmaking, Trophy Offers and League Bonuses
More Update Sneak Peeks
Town Hall 11 (including a new defense and a new hero!)
In the game, players can expect to have the following changes made on the following:
Shields, including the exciting new "Village Guard" concept
Session timers and the Personal Break
Multiplayer matchmaking
League Bonuses
High-level Trophy calculations
During the ClashCon 2015, fans were made aware of the additions to the highly successful turn-based strategy game that includes a new Town Hall 11, a larger map, a new defensive structure and a new hero. Many players have been stuck on Town Hall 10 for quite a time now and this is a big relief for them, Touch Arcade reported.
Currently, there is still no exact date for the update roll out.
