Fans of Minecraft and Wii U got to experience something out of this world,  a PEGI rating was leaked for the game, and it is for the Nintendo Wii U.  Fans were a bit dreaming about this combination for quite a time now, so it was really a big thing for them. However, it quickly vanished!

PEGI is the European counterpart of the ESRB, which is for North America.  All hopes were high when this information accidentally leaked on the internet.   It stated that the Minecraft Wii U Edition can now be for everyone seven years and older, just like the other Minecraft versions.  Most probably, it has reached Nintendo and they consequently asked PEGI to bring it down. Therefore, it is gone now.

Nintendo's Minecraft Wii U Edition is just around the corner, based on the PEGI leaked rating that happened about a week ago.  Nobody can question the reliability of this leak.  However, many fans were wondering why Nintendo has not announced it on its latest Nintendo Direct, according to iDigital Times' report.

Nintendo gaming console fans have long chased Minecraft.  Many were actually rejoicing when the Minecraft Story Mode made it to Wii U.  Their hopes were high for the actual Minecraft game on their consoles since the Minecraft Story Mode uses some of Minecraft's game engine. It was also explained before that having the game ported in the Nintendo gaming consoles is also possible.  It was just a matter of priorities for Mojang.

Based on the PEGI rating that got posted, the Minecraft Wii U Edition was set to be released on Nov. 12.  However, Nintendo did nothing on the 12th, even announcing that this was just a mix-up and that the Minecraft Wii U Edition is not going to happen.  Fans were quite disappointed with this incident.

At the moment, the said leaked rating by PEGI has vanished into thin air.  Not even a small amount of evidence can be found on their website.  Many are asking if this is just a mere accident on PEGI's behalf, say a mix up or something is really cooking up, according to Nintendo Life.
