Adele's latest album, "25," has been released on Nov. 20, Friday. As early as now, the British singer's new album is already being predicted to sell a record of 2.5 million in its first week, beating NSYNC's historical record sales of 2.4 million in 2000.

With both strong CD and digital sales, "25" is projected to break NSYNC's record of biggest-selling opening week in Nielsen SoundScan history, Vulture reported.

More incredibly, Billboards stated that 3.6 million copies of Adele's "25" will be shipped in the US, which would probably be the largest number of new-release CDs shipped for the past 10 years. The last album to ship more than that would have been NSYNC's "No Strings Attached." It shipped 4.2 million units in 2000.

According to The Verge, the album's first single "Hello" is the first track ever to have sold a million downloads in a single week. Adele's "Hello" music video takes over Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" as the new Vevo one-day record holder with 27m-plus views in its first 24 hours. "Bad Blood" had 20.1m views during its initial release on May 17.

Adele's "Hello" is reportedly the second-fastest video as well to hit 100 million Youtube views which is, according to a statement from YouTube, "a milestone it takes most major music videos months to achieve."

However, another report from Vulture predicted that Adele's "25" won't be able to sell as many copies as her previous album, "21." Adele's "21" has sold over 30 million copies worldwide.

"It's a write-off to expect anything close [to the sales of 21 with 25]," the singer-songwriter said in an interview in October. "It was phenomenal what happened, but it was a phenomenon."

Adele's fans may feel saddened to know that her latest album won't be available for streaming. "The major digital music services were informed that '25' would not be available for streaming, according to three people with direct knowledge of the plans", Ben Sisario of The New York Times stated.
