Game developer Atlus has released a new trailer for its popular game, "Persona 5." It was said that the new trailer shows the game in a juvenile school and the lead playable characters involved in difficult challenges, a report from Master Herald said.
According to the report, the company's game director and team producer Katsura Hashino has revealed essential details about the video game, which is expected to be released in various consoles next year. He said that the game will have a splurge of romance too, just like its predecessors.
"In a post on the game's website, the previous game featured a story involving a justice group chasing a bad guy. However, in 'Persona 5' it would be a group of high school students who will be chased by unexpected occurrences due to the justice that they believe in. The game director added that the story will definitely be thrilling for each of the characters in the game," the report said.
"Coming this year for the PlayStation consoles (old & current gen), the new game will also have some additions to the gameplay, like jumping across chandeliers and dashing between covers for the dungeon exploration. However, the basic gameplay is believed to be of the same as in predecessors. Some of the characters have also been revealed - one of them is ShujinkÅ, the main protagonist also known as Phantom. There isn't any word on the release date though," Gamerick said.
"We've been very fortunate to have created a series of games where people feel so attached to each of the protagonists, so we hope that with Persona 5, we'll be able to make a game where the events of it really hit home and make for really impactful experiences. I know it's been a long wait, but I hope you'll give us just a little more time. Hopefully once it's out, it'll all be worth it in the end," game designer Katsuro Hashino said, explaining the game's delay, according to VC Post.
