Once again Samsung has made heads turn as well as created headlines. Images of their newest handset, the Samsung Galaxy Golden 3 dual display Android flip phone, were giving clues to a fresher and more inventive iteration of Samsung's flip phone series. It is additionally supposed that this phone may be released in China and India soon.
Samsung is not new to creating flip phones, and the reason behind this is that the company has released many of these types in the past, including the 2013 Samsung Galaxy Golden 2 steeply priced at $784.34. In addition to the report, Samsung was on their way to create a successor to their flip phone series, and several images of the newest 2015 Samsung flip phone model emerged through China's certification board TENAA.
The Samsung Galaxy Golden 3 device has specs of 1280x720 pixels resolution on both screens, two 3.9-inch super AMOLED displays, 3GB RAM, 64-bit Exynos chipset and 64GB storage. The device also has Lollipop Android 5.1 OS and can support 4G bands.
The Samsung Galaxy Golden 3 shares similarities with the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy 6, and the price could fall into the high-end phones' category. According to Realty Today, the device will be named SM-W2016 upon release; however, the device may not be available to some countries, including Europe, Australia and United States.
Following the report, flip phones are highly in demand. In Japan, the demand for flip phones is skyrocketing as it reaches up to 10.6 million units shipped last year, and it is still continuously growing even as time passes by.
The Samsung Galaxy Golden 3 only carries the name SM-W2016 and not the Samsung Galaxy Golden 3, as of the mean time, IBN Live stated. The clamshell phone has a rear shell design similar to the Samsung Note 5 and Samsung S6. Whether or not Samsung Galaxy Golden 3 will be released in India is still under speculation, however China will launch it most likely.
