Looking for a midranger with uncompromised set of cameras? Two names come to mind, the "LG G4 Stylus" and "Sony Xperia C4". These two devices may not have top of the line specs, but they do come with all smartphone features you will possibly need, and maybe more.
"LG G4 Stylus" vs "Sony Xperia C4 Dual" Specs
Both phones were released 2015 and both come with big screens. The "LG G4 Stylus" has a 5.7 inch screen while the Sony Xperia C4 Dual has a 5.5 inch screen. For the display part, the "LG G4" has a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection while the "Sony Xperia C4 Dual" has a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution covered with scratch resistant glass.
The "LG G4 Stylus" is powered by Snapdragon 410 with a quad core 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 while the "Sony Xperia C4 Dual" is powered by Octa core 1.7 SHz Cortex A53. Both phones run Android Lollipop but the "Sony Xperia C4 Dual" has a bigger internal storage and RAM. The "LG G4 Stylus" only has an 8 GB internal storage with 1 GB RAM while "Sony Xperia C4 Dual" has 16 GB internal storage with 2 GB RAM. However, both phones tie up when it comes to the microSD capacity as both phones can cater to up to 128 GB expanded memory. Also, the "LG G4 Stylus" has another variant which is released especially for T Mobile with 16 GB storage and 2 GB RAM.
For the cameras, its great to know that both phones aren't compromised. The "LG G4" comes with either a 13 MP rear cam (for T Mobile) or an 8 MP rear cam. It then has a 5 MP camera. The "Sony Xperia C4 Dual" has the same cam specs of 13 MP rear and 5 MP front, it's just that the Xperia phone has a front flash. Although these camera specs may not be as high end as your "Lumia 1020" or "Xperia Z5" series, but for the midrange category, you'd be lucky to have something above 2 MP for the front cam and something above 5 MP for the rear camera.
When it comes to the batteries, the "LG G4" comes with a massive Li Ion 3000 mAh battery and the "Sony Xperia C4 Dual" has a Li Ion 2600 mAh battery. These two batts are actually big enough to compete with smartphones that are more expensive.
Overall, there's no complaining about these two phones. The "Sony Xperia C4 Dual" is a bit more pricey than the "LG G4" as it costs around 350 Euro and the "LG G4 Stylus" is at around 250 Euro. The "Sony Xperia C4 Dual" has an FM radio and comes in the colors of black, white, and mint. The "LG G4 Stylus" on the other hand comes in silver and white. If you got to choose between these two, you can just base your decision on your budget. If you want a more advanced option, the "Sony Xperia C4 Dual" may be better especially that it comes with a front flash, dual sim capacity, and an FM radio. However, the LG G4 is also a good choice especially that it has all needed features and a stylus at a lower price.
