The next episode of "Girl Meets World" entitled "Girl Meets New Year" will give the sense of clarity over Riley's impending feelings towards Lucas. According to Cartermatt's spoilers, "Girl Meets New Year" which will air on Dec. 4 will be a bridge episode of what happened to the "Girl Meets Texas" episode.
Looking back from the events of "Girl Meets Texas," the gang's trip to Texas showed in many levels the love triangle among Riley, Maya, and Lucas. Riley who considers friendship more important than her own feelings, lessened the tension by making way for Lucas and Maya to be together.
The last installment of "Girl Meets Texas" also showed how Riley came out differently after the trip and casually brushed off the events by trying to date her admirer Charlie. On the other hand, Farkle and Zay investigated the real deal among the three and knew at the end that Riley indeed still has feelings for Lucas.
Meanwhile, on "Girl Meets New Year," the synopsis by Cartermatt details that the countdown for Riley to reveal her feelings for Lucas begins before the new year unfolds. Farkle helps and urges Riley on the process and talks to her about it. But apparently, Riley could not make up her mind over the matter and tries to keep things as it is.
The matters that Riley could not speak out over her true feelings will make Farkle do the impossible for their friendship. It was revealed in the promo video that Farkle will be the one to reveal about Riley's true feelings for Lucas and everyone in their group of friends will hear about it.
The big reveal on the next episode leads to many questions for Riley and her relationships with Maya and Lucas. What will Lucas feel after knowing about Riley's feelings? Will the friendship of Riley and Maya stay the same after the events?
