"The Walking Dead" series proved that goriness is not only the name of the game. While Rick Grimes and the group are still on a mission to lead the Walkers in Alexandria and Glenn's survival is still on the pit, Carl and Enid are making things seem easier in the zombie apocalypse series. Inquisitr hints that romance is budding once again for the two teenagers.

The start of appearance of Enid's character in TWD season 5 details how she was a sole survivor in her family and was able to pave her way in the doors of the safe-zone for survival. Although Enid was blunt and seemed to disclose nothing at first, she grew to be open and fond with Carl Grimes' company in the start of the TWD season 6.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 was also the beginning of Enid and Carl's growing friendship. There are notable moments which serve some questions between the two's relationship which started from the simple holding of hands and the attempted kiss. But the story between the two cuts off when Enid eventually heads out of Alexandria and leaves Carl a message saying, "Just Survive Somehow."

Enid who is played by actress Katelyn Nacon gives the details regarding the reasons of her character's journey out of Alexandria.

"Enid wants to survive but she wants to feel like she's living," says Nacon from the article of Inquisitr. "These walkers are not going to dictate her life. Out of Rick's group, Enid is closest to Carl but it is just a wait and see for them right now."

"The Walking Dead" season 6 spoilers was also revealed when Nacon hints her character's real deal when it comes to love and getting close to anybody like Carl.

"People were saying she was so closed off and didn't want to give anyone a chance. Enid does not want to let people in, because the last time she really got hurt is when she witnessed her parents being eaten alive [by zombies] right in front of her from the family car," said Nacon from the article. "So she's really closed off ... not wanting to get close to someone and then lose them."

Although the progressing love between the two are still in question, there is still hope as Enid appeared again on the previous episode of "The Walking Dead."
