"Castle" Season 8 will be airing its winter finale episode titled "Mr. & Mrs. Castle" in just a few hours and fans are definitely teetering on the edge of their seats wondering if the most awaited 'Caskett' reunion will be taking place. While the first half of the season disappointed fans with the couple's separation, will the ABC police procedural drama finally solve the LokSat mystery when it returns in 2016?

"Castle" will be concluding its first half of Season 8 on Monday, Nov. 23 in an episode titled "Mr. & Mrs. Castle." While the winter finale episode promises fans an episode filled with mystery and a hint of romance, many fans continue to air their disappointments with the way things are going on between Rick Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Det. Kate Beckett (Stana Katic).
In a "Castle" Season 8 spoiler article on Carter Matt, several fans aired their sentiments towards the show's storylines. A user named Jim_Satterfield wrote: "From everything I've read about this episode it's going to be just earlier ones where H&W (Alexi Hawley and Terence Paul Winter) push the idea that the fans will be happy with it while in fact they won't..."
A user named Buddy, on the other hand, suggested on several ways that the showrunners could do to improve the show and maybe save it from being placed on the chopping block. One of the user's suggestions was to have Castle and Beckett finally work on the LokSat mystery when "Castle" Season 8 returns on ABC in 2016.
Meanwhile, Bustle also listed out several things that "Castle" Season 8 must air when it returns from its winter break. One of the things mentioned on the list is the reunion between Castle and Beckett.
While the showrunner previously explained that Caskett's breakup was necessary and had a very good reason, many fans refused to see how such a scenario was beneficial for the couple. Others also felt that the showrunners have been dragging on this separation for too long.
