TV has never been this brutal to fans. The new trend that makes a good series are the open-ended scenes and the vague explanations of what happens to the characters, but the most brutal thing that a series can do to us fans is when they make us wait, and during that waiting period, a lot of things are happening around the Internet that is making us nuts.

Fan favorite characters are most likely to receive this unfortunate trolling from the writers and directors.

Spoilers ahead! You have been warned.

For The Walking Dead's resident pizza delivery boy, Glenn Rhee, the pressure is on. At the end of episode 3 of the current season, Glenn appears to have fallen into a horde of zombie and was torn apart by zombies. After that scene, fans of the series immediately thought that Glenn was killed, while others still got their hopes up. According to the comic book which the series is based on, Glenn was killed by being beaten by the leader of another surviving pack, and not by walkers. The writers made us wait for a couple of episodes after we found out the truth. They also removed Steven Yeun, the actor who played Glenn, in the opening credits, which made people believe that Glenn really was dead. In fact, he did survive the horde, so he's not dead...yet.

In another universe, Game of Thrones also trolled their fans by killing off the Stark bastard, Jon Snow, who is also a fan-favorite. According to E! News, Kit Harrington, the actor who played Jon Snow, declared that he will not be returning in Season 6. But it seems that Game of Thrones executives released a teaser poster of the upcoming season in April, featuring a bloody Jon Snow, although until now, we still don't know if he really is still alive, or has become a member of the undead.

The official Twitter account of The Walking Dead even re-tweeted the poster of Game of Thrones, saying, "And you guys thought WE were torturing our fans..."

Both series pushed us at the end of our seats, which we think made them fan favorites. In the end, we just have to stand by and wait for the episodes to figure it out for ourselves.
