The T Birds and Pink Ladies are definitely back. Grease will be re-made by Fox for a TV movie, and the star-studded cast makes us more excited.

Let's start with the T Birds. "Big Time Rush" member and "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Carlos Pena Vega will play Kenickie. David Del Rio, who appeared in "Pitch Perfect," plays Putzie. The male lead, Danny Zuko, goes to Aaron Tveit, who played Enjolras in the movie adaptation of "Les Miserables," and Mike Warren in "Graceland."

As for the Pink Ladies, "Scream Queens" star Keke Palmer will be playing Marty. Pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen will be playing the beauty school dropout, Frenchy. Jan will be played by Kether Donohue, who appears on the comedy "You're the Worst." High School Musical alum, Vanessa Hudgens, will play the role of Rizzo; she recently played the title role in Broadway's "Gigi." For the lead role of Sandy, Dancing with the Stars regular, Julianne Hough, was chosen to play the iconic part.

Hough told E! News in an interview, "Grease is one of the movies that made me want to be an entertainer, and I have literally been waiting my whole life to play Sandy." Hough also said in a statement when her casting was announced that, "My siblings and I watched it and played it out over and over when we were kids. This is my dream role and performing it live on television will be one of the most thrilling opportunities I've had in my career so far."

E! News also interviewed Hudgens. "Being Rizzo is something I've never imagined, and I love that because it will be a new challenge," the HSM star said in a statement. "She is such an iconic character that continues to transcend generations. I cannot wait to bring her to life on live television. I'm going to be a Pink Lady!"

Additional cast has been listed on the IMDB page of the TV movie, such as British singer Jesse J, Mario Lopez as Vince Fontaine, and Elle McLemore as Patty Simcox. It was also rumored that Nick Jonas will be playing Teen Angel or Johnny Casino, which is not yet confirmed.
