Newest UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm continues to prove to the world that she's a class act by giving words of praise to her opponent Ronda Rousey on her recent guesting on the Late Night Show with Seth Meyers. The female MMA fighter expressed her gratitude towards the Rowdy, and shared that she owed it to her why the win was so huge to her. She said on the interview, "The reason why this fight is so big, why this win is so big for me, [is] because she [Rousey] was that good." E! Online reported that she recognized Ronda's dominance and that she appreciated the opportunity to go against the fan favorite.
When Meyers asked her if she was ready to take on Ronda again for a rematch, although Ronda has yet to decide on that, Holly shared that she welcomes it -- and she guarantees that she'll be training twice as hard, as she expects her opponent to redeem herself in a big way. To quote the humble UFC champ, "I've been on the other end of losing a bout before, getting knocked out and having to come back -- I did avenge my loss, and I know that she'll be wanting to do the same..." UFC President Dana White also expressed her desire for the two MMA superstars to go on a rematch, as she believes that they definitely deserve to have one.
Unlike Ronda Rousey, MMA Junkie reports that Holly Holm would want to go against Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino "in a heartbeat." Her coach Niall McGrath mentioned that the New Mexico athlete has never turned down a fight, and that she's just that mentally tough -- she'll always believe that she could take anyone down anytime. Although nothing is set in stone yet for Holly regarding her next opponent, MMA stars Miesha Tate, Cat Zingiano, and Amanda Nunes have also been rumored to be next in line to go against the champ.
