Selena Gomez has barely had time to unpack her boxes and already the singer is dealing with trespassers at her new Calabasas, Calif., home.

A 21-year-old man claiming to be a fan of the "Come and Get it" singer was arrested Monday night after showing up unwanted at Gomez's new home.

Law enforcement officials told TMZ that the singer and her friend had just arrived home when they heard a strange noise. Gomez called for security but before security could inspect the place, the guy rang the front doorbell asking if the pop crooner was in.

Gomez's friend answered the door saying she was not in and slammed the door. Security later found him in the guesthouse and waited for the police to arrive. Identified as Che Cruz, the man was arrested and charged with burglary and trespassing. He is being held on $50,000 bail. Officials didn't say if he was retaining an attorney, reports USA Today.

This is not the first time Gomez has experienced trouble with crazy fans. In January, another man was arrested after he was found lurking outside her place. A family member called 911 after they spotted a suspicious figure loitering near the property. Officials arrested the man on the scene and booked him on suspicion of trespassing, Daily Mail reported.

The January incident came about 18 months after Gomez got a restraining order against a 48-year-old stalker claiming she was his soul mate.

Gomez purchased the $3 million, five-bedroom property in Calabasas just days back. News of the buy set headlines on fire, with tabloids speculating that Gomez and her on-and-off flame Justin Bieber would be living together.

"The real reason Selena bought that $3 million mansion in Calabasas is because she wants Justin to move in with her," an insider told HollywoodLife.com.

"Justin is actually considering it and for now will stay with Selena whenever he's in town. Before Selena purchased the house, she consulted with Justin and they both agreed on the one in Calabasas," the source added.
