Finally the rift between Rick Castle and Kate Beckett is finally over. After the fall finale's last episode "Mr. and Mrs. Castle" aired last Mon, TVLine spoke with "Castle" co-showrunners Alexi Hawley and Terence Paul Winter for some insights regarding the show's fall finale and if there is a possibility of a "baby" next season?

One interesting moment that happened last episode in "Castle" is when Castle hesitated for a while to forgive Beckett when she was ready to get back with him. It was a fairly dramatic scene for the two and when Winter was asked if that moment could include more time for Castle to not jump again with the relationship.

He said, "Yeah, we probably would have. It was very important that he had a moment when she comes to him in the loft where he didn't just say yes, because she did hurt him - even though I know the audience, when he says, "It's not that easy," might throw stuff at the television, because it looks like we might not put them together.... "

But in a good note, the fall finale of "Castle" ended up well as Rick and Kate are back together again. In the whole process, as noisy as Rick in trying to figure out about his wife's actions, he was able to unlock the real reason why Kate broke up with him with Hayley's help. Meanwhile, the reunion between the couple, delighted fans and questioned if a "baby" is on the way for the next season.

According to Hawley, it is a definite "No."

He explained that, "This was a question that came up at the beginning of the season, and for us, at least right now, we don't know how the show would work like that. I understand that other shows have done that, but for us, because Beckett is so "boots on the ground," kicking ass and taking names, it's hard to imagine what a pregnant Beckett solving cases looks like."

Apart from his comments, Winter also added, "And we have to ask ourselves: How is it helpful to our storytelling going forward if and when she gets pregnant? It's not off the table, but there's nothing planned for anytime soon."

Stay tune for more updates regarding "Castle" before its return in Feb. 2016.
