"Doctor Who" fans have not gotten over last week's Doctor Who episode "Face the Raven" yet, and as the show proceeds to the most awaited finale, the showrunner of the hit show says the coming episode will be even more heart racing.
Doctor Who's executive producer Steven Moffat shares what the fans of the British fantasy saga should look forward to in the next episode through a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly. Moffat explains, "Episode of 11 is sort of a one-hander. It's Capaldi on his own. It's one of the strangest, and most atmospheric, and creepiest episodes that we've done, with the Doctor monologuing to stay alive."
BBC America has released both the official trailer for the series' 11th episode entitled, "Heaven Sent"' The synopsis reads: Trapped in a world unlike any other he has seen, the Doctor faces the greatest challenge of his many lives. One final test. And he must face it alone. Pursued by the fearsome creature known only as the Veil, he must attempt the impossible. If he makes it through, Gallifrey is waiting...
The trailer shows "Doctor Who" trapped in a mysterious castle, with no knowledge of the exact time or place he is in. He runs from a frightening creature known only as "The Veil." After losing his loyal companion Clara Oswald, the doctor is all alone, with no other means of escaping especially without TARDIS.
Avid viewers, along with Peter Capaldi, were devastated with Jenna Coleman's aka Clara's exit from the TV show. Peter referred to it as a sad, gripping and a very strange feeling. His character in the series apparently feels the same way. Moffat tells EW when asked how the Doctor would feel after the loss of Clara, he responds, "He is, at the end, a very emotional man. We give him a particularly hard time with that."
