"Men In Black 4" talks have hit the entertainment world and it seems that the new movie will include a prominent role for a "woman in black."

BBC reports that producer Laurie MacDonald said it herself. There was also a point where it was mentioned that Will Smith may no longer be connected with the fourth film but Walter Parkes, who worked on the three original films with wife MacDonald said not to count Will out yet. Both Parkes and MacDonald are behind the new movie.

"We are quite early on in it," he said to Newsbeat (BBC). "We sort of looked at the first three in retrospect as a bit of a trilogy."

"We tried to tell a story about those two characters and that relationship," he added.

"It sounds silly because it's a fun, science fiction comedy but when you work on these things you sort of try to find some thematic basis underneath it."

It can be recalled that the first "Men In Black" film was released way back in 1997, starring Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith. The former played Agent K and the former Agent J.

The story revolves on the agents' mission to control the aliens trying to live among humans in secret and causing chaos from time to time. A sequel was made in 2002 and then 10 years later, there was "Men In Black 3."

Parkes said that they are looking for a "reinvention." He is excited to go back to the wonderful world of MIB.

While adding a female hero on the MIB squad is a progressive step, Screenrant notes, it may change the story altogether and may indeed change the dynamic the first three films have established.

Since it is still in early stages and no release date yet, there is plenty of time to iron out the small details such as the casting of the female lead, although Linda Florentino briefly joined the original movie as agent L (Laurel Weaver). We will surely hear about any developments in the near future.

Are you looking forward to watch "MIB 4?"
