Disney has picked up "Girl Meets World" again for it's third season.

People say that high school is the best part of one's school life. That remains to be seen when it comes to Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard), Maya Hart (Sabrina Carpenter) and friends when they enter high school come spring 2016, when season 3 of "Girl Meets World" premieres.

The spin-off of "Boy Meets World," which also starred sequel to the '90s hit sitcom - which also starred Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel may even catch up on its predecessor's seven-season run, Entertainment Weekly reports. The second season, composing of 26 episodes, is nearing its end. It would also mean the end of middle school life for BFFs Riley and Maya and their other friends.

"Michael Jacobs has one of the most authentic voices in television today," said Disney Channels Worldwide EVP of Programming Adam Bonnett in a statement exclusively reported by TheWrap. "He and the entire 'Girl Meets World' team will not only continue to entertain families but also help kids discover who they are and who they want to be in this world."

In related news, the series' star, Rowan Blanchard, has made her voice known when she sparked debate over white vs. black feminism. She posted a three-part essay in Instagram, TheWrap also reports. "To only acknowledge feminism from a one sided view when the literal DEFINITION is the equality of the sexes is not feminism at all," the actress wrote.

She further added, "The way a black woman experiences sexism and inequality is different from the way a white woman experiences sexism and inequality," the actress wrote. "Likewise with trans-women and Hispanic women."

"Girl Meets World" also stars Peyton Meyer as Lucas Friar and Corey Fogelmanis as Farkle Minkus, Riley and Maya's classmates, and August Maturo as the Matthews' other kid, Auggie.

The show is commendable for tackling issues many shy away from, such as autism, parental abandonment, and cyber-bullying. The production of the third season will begin in January.
