The once glorious team is now struggling to have a decent standing in the regular season of the NBA. LA Lakers who once dominated the Western Conference is on the bottom list of the rankings this season winning only 2 games out of 14 matches. With a four losing streak and suffering an awful end against the Golden State Warriors last Wednesday, it's no wonder why trade rumors about the Lakers are now being weaved in the NBA rumor mill.

Lakers are now being rumored to reorganize their team in preparation for the next season. According to a report, Lakers' management are citing Roy Hibbert, Lou Williams, and Brandon Bass as possible trade pieces in order to strengthen their line-up for the upcoming season. Bindhu Mol. G of movienewsguide stipulated that, "Bass gets only limited chances to play on the court, while Williams has yet to prove his scoring abilities. Hibbert has been more efficient when compared to the three players. However, he is 'still trying to rediscover himself' in the team."

The said players are struggling to contribute consistently and significantly for the team, and even their veteran star player Kobe Bryant has been struggling with his court performance. That is why reports about him playing his last year this season surfaced the internet.

It can be remembered that Sports Illustrated reported few weeks ago that, "Kobe Bryant recently told Los Angeles Lakers coach Byron Scott that this season could be his last in the NBA." And with continuous struggle and difficulty finding his shots, there would be no wonder if Kobe would likewise join the batch of players to be shipped out, and in his case, out of the NBA. Still there is information on which team would the relatively young players be transferred and who would be their trade counterpart. Guess we would just have to wait for further updates to verify the validity of these rumors.
