After Carrie's (Claire Danes) discovery about the truth behind Allison's (Miranda Otto) identity she will try to warn her old friend about her in the new episode of "Homeland" season 5.

In episode 8 of "Homeland" season 5, Carrie became desperate when she went to Allison to ask for help. But Carrie discovered the truth behind her identity and how she became a double agent. According to Ecumenical News, Carrie will try to warn her friend Saul (Mandy Patinkin) about Allison's deception but it was reported that Saul doubts everything that Carrie is saying.

In the trailer for the "Homeland" season 5 episode 9, Carrie can be seen telling Saul everything that she knew about Allison but Saul seems to think that Allison is still innocent. Carrie tells Saul that Allison wanted her to be dead so that she can keep her being a double agent a secret. Despite letting Carrie believe that he does not believe her, Saul can be seen talking to his counterparts that they have to be careful just in case what Carrie said about Allison is true.

Meanwhile Quinn's (Rupert Friend) life will be put in danger again after he discovered that the jihadists he was trying to work for in the previous episode were not going to Syria after all. It was revealed that the group wanted to cause trouble in Berlin and a chemical warfare was part of the plan. Christian Post reported that in the trailer for episode 9, Quinn can be seen taken as hostage and was bound lying on the floor. In another scene, Quinn was being gagged and was led by his captors into a building where he sees computers and chemicals before they chain him to a wall and placed duct tape between his legs. Can he manage to get out of this situation alive?
