"Blacklist" season 3 has so far enthralled viewers with Red (James Spader) and Liz's (Megan Boone) stellar performances.

One interesting concept would be an inclusion of a baby in "Blacklist," now that Megan is pregnant with her first child. It may not be far fetched, since her character and Ryan Eggold's Tom Keen have been doing well in the previous episodes, to the point that Liz has been communicating with Tom behind Red's back and well, she slept with him before she went on the run. The mid-season finale saw her in custody and Samar got fired from her job! Therefore, a lot could play out when the show returns from it's season break.

When asked, reports by Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Jon Bokenkamp says, "We are still trying to figure it out. It plays in a number of different ways, both story wise and physically, for Megan in trying to figure out what that would mean to the show."

"It's really hard in a show that has - whether he's her father or not - a parental core to it," Bokenkamp continues, referring to Red and Liz's working dynamic, which to be honest, has the fans wondering since Reddington came to Elizabeth's life. "In a show that has a father-daughter type relationship, it's incredibly difficult to ignore the fact that our lead actress is pregnant. It's still being figured out exactly what that means."

So what else can fans expect next year? Would the series pick up where it left off? With there be changes in "The Blacklist" cast?

Crossmap reports that Tom and Ressler may be working together to exenorate Liz, the former being the most dedicated to saver her, next to Red, of course. It is no secret that there is no love lost between the two guys and it would be a wonder to see how it would play out. Another question that will probably be answered soon enough is what would happen to Samar? Will she be working with Reddington? Bokenkamp hinted as much.

"The Blacklist" 3 is stated to return on January 7, 2016 on NBC.
