Fans have surely missed "The Flash" during the Thanksgiving week, but there will be a big surprise when the show returns on Dec. 1. First, "Flash and Arrow" will have a crossover instance again, another major one, then, "The Flash" is hinted to have an upgrade on his maximum achievable speed, though it will be with another character, and third, new superheroes will be introduced on the show that makes the show more exciting.
Several networks took a break from their regular programming during the Thanksgiving week, holding off their top shows. However, fans of the DC comics-based, "The Flash," will have a blast when the show comes back to start its season finale.
In the upcoming episode 8, entitled "Legends of Today," Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) disrupts a quiet evening of Kendra (Ciara Renee) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes). Barry (Grant Gustin) was called upon by Cisco to help in putting an order in Central City but was not able to stop Vandal. Barry then decided to bring Kendra to Star City, Oliver's (Stephen Amell) aka "The Arrow," territory. However, a winged creature (Falk Hentschel) appears out of nowhere and took Kendra away, according to a synopsis reported by Hitfix.
This upcoming episode will be the second major incident that "Arrow and Flash' will join forces to stop the bad guys of Central City. Also, a serum in the comic book known as Velocity 9, seems to be arriving on the hit show as well. Harrison (Tom Cavanagh) will be testing it out on Jay (Teddy Sears), which will eventually make Barry go faster.
The trailer for the upcoming episode was recently released which made the fans more enthusiastic for the next show. Oliver, together with Felicity, was telling friends that they all stand together during the darkest hours. Next, the immortal Vandal Savage was name dropped by a man who is all chained up, then a scene of the villain playing with his knives. Though, Barry is confident that, together, they can stop Vandal, according to Ecumenical News.
"The Flash" will return on Dec. 1 at The CW network.
