Will Lamar Odom get a little break? Despite initial reports that the NBA player will be prosecuted for cocaine possession, TMZ reports that he might get lucky and that he wouldn't be charged for it.
The Nye County D.A. in Nevada is now backtracking its statements saying that he has a "strong chance" of not being prosecuted, and the source conducted their own research on their own -- and the D.A.'s office shows that they haven't prosecuted anyone for cocaine possession after a person has been admitted to the hospital for it. Additionally, Odom is believed to be in such poor physical state, that he might not be able to stand for trial anyway.
Odom's recovery is considered nothing short of a miracle after his bender at the Love Ranch where he was found unconscious due to his crazy drug binge. Currently, he is still unable to walk and his cognitive functions are still severely impaired, this is still far better than what was expected from him. Khloe Kardashian quickly ran to his aide, and broke up with another NBA player, James Harden, after realizing that she must remain by Lamar's side.
Hollywood Life has reported that Khloe went to Lamar to celebrate a "hospital Thanksgiving," shortly after her quarantine period for her staph infection and the Kardashians' celebration at home. She remains to go on regular visits for her estranged husband.
Khloe has made it clear that her reaching out to her ill and soon-to-be ex doesn't necessarily signify reconciliation. She has said in previous interviews before that Lamar has given her "the worst year of her life" after his cheating scandals. Just like Lamar, she also has her own healing to do, but it is definite that things are looking up for the both of them. Their divorce is still pending and yet to be finalized.
