Not everyone is a fan of the all-girl Filipina group '4th Impact' on the "X-Factor".
Former judge Louis Walsh says in an interview with the Daily Mirror that he thinks the power vocal group's efforts in the talent competition are useless and pointless -- and even says, "where are they from? They're really good but I just don't see the point."
He went on by saying that he doesn't think anyone is going to vote for them, but his statements were quickly dispelled by viewers as they were deemed irrelevant as at that point, 4th Impact was still doing very strong in the competition under Cheryl Fernandez-Versini's team.
It is unfortunate that Pinoy pride 4th Impact was just eliminated last night.
While Cheryl and Simon voted for them to stay, Rita and Nick voted for them to leave -- prompting an emergency public vote, which led to the elimination of the group. Were Louis' words held true to a certain extent? The public has indeed failed to keep the group afloat. The Daily Mail reports that upon announcement, member Celina collapsed and was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.
Cheryl shares that Celina looked pale already so she asked her how she was backstage. She tells the source," I could see her, and I was talking to her and she wasn't engaging. I pulled her in closer to ask if she was alright and she just she passed out." Fans of the girl group were concerned about Celina's state when they heard about the incident, but 4th Impact quickly assured their fans that she is fine and "ok now" and that they are truly grateful of their support throughout their stay on the "X-Factor."
The Filipino girl group just missed their chance of getting into the show's semi-final, but viewers are still hopeful that a wildcard episode will be done.
