Due to the ongoing shortage of new homes in the UK, Bristol developers are working hard to create centre pads as an alternative to address this shortage.

According to Bristol Post, the city centre has been the primary focus for the contemporary apartments. These kinds of apartments will be built together with the completed projects like "The Eye" (a tower of apartments) and "The Zone." Both of these projects are in Temple Quay.

Aside from these two projects, they will be with Horizon apartments in Cabot Circus, and Eclipse, as well as another tower of apartments above the Cabot Circus and the Harvey Nichols.

Due to the hundreds of constructed flats in the area, it has contributed to the regeneration of the "former derelict docks in the area." This is a long-term project under Harbourside development with Crest Nicholson which was completed this year.

The Purifier House, which is located on Lime Kilm Road, is "a former gasworks that was converted in 2013 by Linde Homes into 26 waterfront apartments." After the construction, only one unit was left for sale at £380,000.

Another amazing kind of centre pads made available to prospect buyers is the "Finzels Reach" located at Countership, Bristol, City of Bristol, BS1 6EU. Based from the listing made in the same Bristol Post site, the property is located within the walking distance of Temple Meads railway station and Cabot Circus shopping center at the same time.

All in all, the entire 4.7-acre waterfront mixed-use regeneration scheme can be clearly seen from the former brewery buildings, now reconstructed and made residential.

There is also a new pedestrian bridge across the floating harbour to Castle Park where the residents will just have to walk in a few minutes to shops and restaurants. The location of these apartments is really strategic and accessible to different establishments.

In terms of the pricing, most of these centre pads cost around £300,000 and up depending on the type of unit the buyer wishes to own. There are many options available based from the listing.

Rest assured, that in these pads, they are all strategically planned in terms of accessibility and space. So the buyers won't have to worry about the distance of their homes to the shops and restaurants they want to go to.

What the buyers should check out soon, is what they call "The Chocolate Factory" wherein it will be situated at the city centre particularly in the Greenbank area (former Elizabeth Shaw chocolate factory).

Currently, the development team is doing the demolition process on the site to make way for the new centre pads.
