If one would name a promising team in the NBA, perhaps Miami Heat would be included. The Heat was once a talk of the town especially because of their big three, LeBron James, Chris Bosh, and Dwyane Wade. However, many seasons had past and LeBron James already moved back to his hometown team and is carrying his team every now and then into the playoffs or even the finals.
On the part of the Heat, it seems like they are really feeling the gap left by James. The Heat seems to have lost its flame and enthusiasm for winning. However, such view would somehow be changed this season, especially with presence of their promising younger players, Justise Winslow and Hassan Whiteside. That is why, Chris Bosh was emphatic in expressing that this season would be different for their team. Bosh via gospelherald stated that;
"I expect to be in the playoffs every year from now on. We want it. After my ordeal last year, it's a lot easier grinding it out, having a good time, playing out your dreams. It's tough, but it's a lot of glory in it. That's what we're about. People remember your name. And for me personally, it's a chance to write our legacy without Bron, to be honest."
With regards to the threat of James and his new colleague, Bosh added that, "[LeBron] is there and he's going to be trying to get to the mountaintop every year. Why not us? We might as well challenge him and see what we can dig out of ourselves before our careers are over."
Perhaps this season would be different for the Miami Heat especially that they are on the upper part of the ranking as this season advances. However, it is still too early to predict what might be the ending of the once glorious team this season. Guess we would just have to wait and see the result of the Miami Heat's rekindled spirit.
