Stephen Curry scored 26 points for the Golden State Warriors in their last game against Utah Jazz with 104-101.
Yahoo reported the Golden State Warriors were able to survive the furious game with Utah Jazz last Monday. The team seemed to have their record-breaking unbeaten season this time with 19 games.
Stephen Curry, the reigning NBA MVP rescued the team again with superb three points with seconds left leaving Golden State Warriors ahead 104-101 after Utah levelled.
The reigning NBA MVP contributed six rebounds and five assists all throughout the game against the furious and highly spirited Utah performance at the Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City.
Curry's teammates, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson were also the standouts in Golden State Warriors with 20 points contributions each. Green has nine rebounds and seven assists.
According to Yahoo Sports, Stephen Curry is driven to achieve Los Angeles Lakers' all-time winning streak record of 33 games with one game closer this season.
"This ranks up there. There have been some battles. We have had some lopsided victories, too," Curry said.
He added, "What gets lost in the record are the tough games that we have to claw our way out of. Like tonight. Hard-fought win to start the road trip."
Warriors interim coach Luke Walton shared thoughts about the game with Utah Jazz, "It was fun. We knew this was going to be one of the tougher challenges for us," he added, "[Utah] is very well-coached and they execute. They've got those bigs [Derrick Favors and Rudy Gobert] that are a lot to deal with. Their crowd, once their crowd got into it, they had their confidence going."
This season saw Utah's record fall to 8-8. The Jazz's points were from Gordon Hayward (24) and power forward Derrick Favors (23). Center, Rudy Robert, contributed 13 points and 11 rebounds.
At the last quarter, Utah Jazz was able to level themselves up, however, Golden State Warriors was able to get back immediately with the help of Draymond Green and Stephen Curry.
