A lot of things will be going on for some of the characters in the next episode of "NCIS" Season 13.

Christian Post reports that Ducky (David McCallum) will be facing someone from his past as the official synopsis for the new episode reveals that he will be attacked by a man who claims to have some vital information about someone from his past. It was reported that this someone is Ducky's half-brother who's been dead for the past 10 years already.

This incident will prompt the NCIS team to investigate more on the attacker, and they also will look into Ducky's family and his past. It is expected that there will be flashbacks and emotional moments as Ducky reminisces the final moments that he had with his brother.

Elsewhere, after spending the holidays with her family in her hometown, things will get more emotional for NCIS Special Agent Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham) when she finally decides on her marriage with her cheating husband, Jake Malloy (Jamie Bamber).

Venture Capital Post reports that in an interview, actress Emily Wickersham revealed that Bishop's marriage will likely not work out and continue as before. She explained that Bishop's marriage to Jake did not have a solid foundation to begin with, and this is most likely the main reason why she is choosing to divorce Jake.

She added that her decision is not solely based on Jake's affair and that she also considers the fact that they are working on two different agencies and they did not have the opportunity to spend as much time together because of their jobs. Wickersham added that this will affect Bishop not only personally but also professionally, but she is confident that her character will work her way through everything that has happened and come out strong.

"NCIS" Season 13 will go on a two-week break and will be back for episode 11 on CBS on Dec. 15.
