Over the past few months, a lot of speculations on Season 4 of "House of Cards" have come up, but this time the executive producer of the show has dished some details as to what fans can expect when the series returns next year.

According to Movie News Guide, executive producer Beau Willi gave the latest update on the political drama and shared what fans should look forward to in the next season. According to the report, a lot of rumors about Neve Campbell's role have been circulating, and Willi confirmed that Campbell will be playing a role of a woman who is desperate for power.

A lot of sources claim that Campbell might be paired with another character and together, they will be the next couple to challenge the Underwoods. With a new power couple on the way, there could also be a huge possibility that Claire (Robin Wright) and Frank (Kevin Spacey) will be reuniting instead of the earlier claims that the couple will be heading for divorce after the events that took place in the Season 3 finale.

Meanwhile, iDigital Times reports that since the show will premiere close to the 2016 elections, it might feature its own version of the U.S. elections in Season 4. In the past, Frank has found various ways to get where he is right now, even killing people to get what he wants.

In an earlier report, Spacey gave vague clues as to what fans could expect in the season, where he said that whatever happens to the characters, it is something that they deserve. With his statement, it was speculated that it could mean that some characters will be killed off in Season 4.

As of writing, there is still no confirmed release date for "House of Cards" Season 4, but it is expected to premiere before the 2016 elections, which may be in March 2016.
