ONE, the creator of "One-Punch Man," will have his "Mob Psycho 100" manga be adapted in anime series. This is because the manga is one of the titles that have gotten highest votes to be adapted in TV animation.

Anime News Network reports that Ura Sunday, the Shogakukan's web comic magazine, has announced on Wednesday that ONE's "Mob Psycho 100" manga has been green-lit already for a TV anime adaptation. As mentioned in the said announcement, the airing will commence sometime in 2016. It is also mentioned that BONES studio will produce the anime series.

"Mob Psycho 100" manga is written by "One-Punch Man" creator ONE. The story focuses on the boy named Mob. This boy is known to "explode if his emotional capacity reaches 100%." The plot states further that Mob has psychic powers, and he has gotten his nickname "Mob" since "he does not stand out among other people. He keeps his psychic powers bottled up so he can live normally, but if his emotional level reaches 100, something will overwhelm his entire body."

Report says that "One-Punch Man" creator ONE had launched "Mob Psycho 100" manga in 2012 via Ura Sunday magazine. In 2014, this manga about the psychic boy Mob had also been launched in Shogakukan's MangaOne app.

ANN states that the 11th compiled book volume of "Mob Psycho 100" will be published by Shogakukan on Friday. It has also been noted that early this year, Ura Sunday had allowed its readers to vote for a manga that should get a TV animation adaptation. Surprisingly, "Mob Psycho 100 was among those titles that received the most votes."

Kpopstars implies that perhaps this has something to do with the hype that "One-Punch Man" has been getting. In fact, it has been noted that in "the official Kotaku 2015 anime season poll put 'One Punch Man' thousands of votes ahead of the second anime series, 'Noragami' season two." Thus, ONE gets his 2nd anime adaptation.
