The sequel to the multi-awarded James Cameron film "Avatar" will premiere two years from now, but a lot of speculations are already circulating online regarding the possible plot of the movie.

According to MNR Daily, Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana will be reprising their roles as Jake Sully and Neytiri, and it is possible that the two will become the chieftain and priestess in the tribe. However, their peace might only be short-lived as it was reported that in "Avatar 2," humans will come back to cause more problems.

It was also speculated that Neytiri and Jake Sully will have children, which could prove interesting as they could technically be half-human and half-Na'vi. The role of their children will also be an interesting story to see in the upcoming sequel of the film. It was also rumored that the couple will be forced to separate when the humans come and cause havoc to the planet again, but many sources reveal that this separation is only temporary.

Meanwhile, Chinatopix reports that Saldana revealed some details about the film in an interview with MTV News. She said that Cameron has been working on the studio for the last three years and that she has already seen a few of the locations for the shooting.

Earlier, Cameron also said that Jake and his family's story will also be featured in the second film, just like in the first movie. It was also revealed that the setting of "Avatar 2" will include some underwater scenes from the enormous ocean in Pandora and that the graphics will be more powerful.

As of writing, there is still no official schedule for the release of "Avatar 2," and shooting has not started yet. However, it is speculated that the movie will be released sometime in December 2017.
