Billy Corgan, frontman of Smashing Pumpkins, has put his East Coast-style home in Beverly Hills, CA a few months ago on the market for $4.95 million. Up to this time, no buyer has yet stepped up to buy the two-storey house of the singer, so the piece of rock star history is still up for grabs.
The Smashing Pumpkins was co-founded by Corgan in 1988. The group then achieved major recognition with hits that include "Cherub Rock" and "Disarm." After a hiatus of nearly six years, the band reformed in 2006 after Corgan posted full-page newspaper ads expressing his desire to regroup the band.
According to the Realtor, the home's kitchen has great features of marble countertops, a butcher block island, and windows overlooking the wooded yard. The dark-floored dining room is fitted with a vaulted ceiling and an elegant chandelier. The beautifully landscaped yard features a small creek, a pool, a tree swing, and a detached guesthouse.
