The controversies regarding Scientology once again unfolds. Ex-members of the said belief are exposing details behind the "Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation" actor Tom Cruise and his "obsession" to make ex-Manchester United football player David Beckham become a part of the belief.
According to Inquisitr, ex-Scientology members including "ex-head of security Gary Morehead; former Scientology spokesman Mike Rinder; Scientology founder L.Ron Hubbard's great-grandson; and the former personal chef to church leader David Miscavige, Sinar Parman" were interviewed about the belief and about Tom Cruise's major craze to involve ex-football friend David Beckham in the religion.
One expose story includes Cruise managed the members of Sea Org to transform one site of the Scientology property into a soccer field to welcome his friend Beckham into the community.
"The Beckhams were due to come, but they never did. They leveled a field. You know the guys even learned about how to put patterns in the grass and stuff like that so it looked really well groomed.
"I can only assume he was getting him into Scientology. What was Lisa Marie Presley doing with Michael Jackson? She was getting him into Scientology," details from the article of Inquisitr.
Earlier in 2015, stories of the Beckham family being fully received by the church of Scientology has already made rumors.
An ex-member of the church Samantha Domingo told Now Magazine that "Tom's No 1 priority is Scientology. He's an honorary Sea Org member and now the No 2 in Scientology worldwide. Tom loves hanging out with David and I'm sure he'd welcome David into Scientology."
And although, Cruise and Beckham are good pals. Beckham once said in the past that the "Mission Impossible" star was not engaging him or his family on the said belief.
Beckham said, "We respect their religion. We respect everything they do and believe in. But they've never turned around to us and said: "You have to be a part of this," because that's not what they're about. It's never been about that."
Even David Beckham's wife Victoria also mentioned in her interview with Marie Claire that Cruise wasn't trying to win them out over the religion.
"We aren't Scientologists," Victoria said. "We really don't know very much about it. I mean, Tom and Katie - they've mentioned it to us. But, no, they didn't try to hook us and reel us in. It never really crops up."
