Without a doubt, Gear VR headset will be the best present for your loved ones this Christmas as Samsung has started making this possible when the said device was released last Nov. 20.  A web browser was also launched that can be used along with the headset that allows the users to look for and view content with no need for them to download it first to their phones.

Although there were some issues about finding content that are fit for viewing, this problem may be modified by the browser. When launching the browser, Samsung turned to its website which they called "Internet for Gear VR". It explains how it can improve the number of VR content accessible to users and placed the industry standard of viewing experience.

Basically, the browser for Gear VR allows the users to look for the web with ease for content and view it in an immersive surrounding. Samsung also said that the browser is going to support an array of content like the video streaming in the form of 3D and 360 degrees video. It can also play HTML 5 straight from the web and the users need not download the content to their phone's app before viewing it.

The browser comes as support for voice recognition and visible keyboard on its screen. The users can choose the right options in the menus through gazing if "Gaze Mode" is  turned on in these browsers.

According to CNET, with VR headsets becoming a common venue, those browsers allow the users to search the web for added content. The Gear VR is reasonably a modest offering than the other VR headsets like the PlayStation VR and Oculus Rift that are waiting to be released next year. Although much expensive, these headsets are more likely to give more options for the users in terms of content and how it is searched.
