With 10 wins and 11 losses and ranked as the 8th team on the Western Conference standings, the Houston Rockets definitely needs some overhaul. They started a major change by firing their head coach Kevin McHale and yet no significant results has been made. And now the solution that some fans and experts would suggest, is for the team like Rockets to have some major changes on their roster. According to spacecityscoop, the Rockets should pursue trade options.

"Nevertheless, things are still progressing at a slow pace and it may be essential to make personnel changes to the roster. There is absolutely no need for a team like the Rockets to wait for the trade deadline and as a matter of fact, February could be too late for the team."

There have been some rumors that Rockets would soon trade their troubled point-guard TY Lawson. Though there have been many suggestions coming from fans and experts alike, the name of Brandon Jennings has been a standout. spacecityscoop suggested that,

"It's getting late for Ty Lawson in Houston, perhaps too late. The staff still has confidence in him, but the fans are losing patience. Perhaps the Rockets could cut their losses sending the troubled point guard to Detroit for Brandon Jennings in a couple of weeks when Jennings return."

Aside from a change in the point guard position, the team could also make some changes in the power-forward end. Some reports suggested that the Rockets could actually make a trade deal with the Suns for Markieff Morris. Yibada suggested that, "for the right price, Morris can be moved and the Rockets should be ready to make a bid. Keef is strong and has the ability to stretch the floor better than the other Rockets power forwards. They can swap Terrence Jones straight up for him."

Now it would take a great push for such rumoured scenario to be actualized, but still we would have to wait for some updates before considering this rumors as final.
