Although the Hollywood Hills are deemed to be a secure and safe place for celebrities to live in, celebrities still fall victim to robberies.
While Big Sean was visiting Dubai last week, his home in the Valley reportedly got burglarized and the thieves took some high-valued possessions.
TMZ reports that the burglars broke into Big Sean's home and targeted his safe. Apparently, the robbers didn't think stealing $150,000 worth of jewelry was enough, because they also stole some "unpublished music" from the mini-vault.
According to Billboard, "Sean and his camp believe that the crime was an inside job, as it seems like the burglars knew that he was out of town and were familiar with the layout of his house."
Big Sean isn't the only celebrity who got robbed recently. As per Complex, Lana Del Rey also got burglarized earlier last week. An "infatuated fan" reportedly broke into her Malibu home and squatted - as in "camped out" - in her garage while she wasn't at home.
As it turns out, the fan - 19-year-old Zachary Self -- believes that he had a "spiritual connection" with the "Summertime Sadness" singer. Zachary Self was eventually arrested at a Starbucks location nearby after a construction worker found him in the said garage.
Although he was reportedly cooperative with the police after getting caught, Zachary Self is currently facing charges on felony burglary after stealing a book from Lana Del Rey's Malibu mansion. Not only that, but he is on a $150,000 bail, as reported by the New York Daily News.
Big Sean has yet to issue a comment on his own burglary incident. But it seems as though he's still pushing through with his plans: he's slated to perform with Rihanna on the European leg of her "Anti" world tour next year.
Big Sean net worth is reportedly $12 million.
