Dr. Dre, the famous rapper-entrepreneur, has put his palatial Los Angeles pad on the market for $35 million just after he moved into the eco-friendly mansion of Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen.

Dr. Dre's new residence may be the epitome of luxury. but his old home is big on the lavish factor too. Set on a secluded spot on Doheny Drive, the residence offers ample views of Sunset Boulevard. In fact, the listing - which is represented by Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency - claims that the residence has the best views in the city!

Public records show that Dr. Dre purchased the home in 2011 for $15.4 million. The house spans an area of 9,696 square feet and has six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. The exquisite residence is being showed to pre-qualified buyers only.

The home has a den, a media room, a wine cellar and a detached guest house. The listing does not provide any interior photos but the Realtor Blog claims that the home has marble flooring and the kitchen has a custom-built cabinetry and a pantry.

Last month, several tabloids reported that Dr. Dre was almost closing on the Brady-Bundchen residence with his wife Nicole. TMZ reported that Dr.Dre "fell in love" with the eco-friendly mansion and made a solid offer beating all the other bids that poured in for the home.

Bundchen and Brady put the home on the open market for $50 million. They moved into the place just a year ago after spending a lavish $20 million on refurbishments.

Dr. Dre's new home is a 13,890-square-feet, multi-winged single-family home - comprising of five bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Designed by famous architect Richard Landry, the home is a luxurious French Chateau boasting of beamed ceilings, mixed flooring, antique doors and marble fireplaces.

More recently, Dr. Dre's "beats" was purchased by tech giant Apple Inc. Insiders have compared Dr. Dre to Steve Jobs, calling the rapper a "perfectionist" and "workaholic" just like the Apple founder. "One thing about Dre is you can't take the music away from him," Lamar explained to Allhiphop.com. "No matter how much money he has, he's going to be right there in that studio. That's before the deal, after the deal, he's always locked in that studio."
