Are you one of those guys who can't tolerate seeing so many games that you don't play anymore still lingering in your Steam account? Well, you don't have to worry anymore because Valve is rolling out a new way to deal with your OCD tendencies.
Valve now offers an option in which you can delete a game that is not worth the space anymore. Valve hasn't announced it yet, but a NeoGaf user with the name 'Enter the Dragon Punch' has discovered it and has quickly shared the info in the said forum.
Here are the simple steps on how you can delete those 'unwanted' games in your Steam account.
WARNING!!! Make sure that the game you want to be deleted from your Steam account is already uninstalled in your compute, to avoid digging up the files one by one in order to delete it, because once deleted, Steam will no longer care for the game.
Step 1: Log in to your Steam account.
Step 2: Click the Help Button in the Menu Bar located on the upper left side of the Steam Window.
Step 3: The help button will land you on a page that will ask you "What do you need help with?" Click on the "Games, Software, etc." just below the list of your games.
Step 4: A new page containing a list of all your games will be shown. Click on the game that you want to be deleted.
Step 5: You will be taken to another page that will be asking "What problem are you having with this product?" Click on "I want to permanently delete this game from my account."
Step 6: Next will be the page that will ask you to carefully review your decision. If you really want to delete the game, click the "Ok, remove the listed games from my account permanently."
Step 7: The game is deleted once you have been taken to this page.
Paid games that were deleted will not be refunded. Be careful when choosing the games that you want to be permanently deleted. You also can't delete games that belong to a bundle without deleting the whole bundle.
