It has been over a year since Jessica Jung announced her sudden departure from Girls' Generation and while the pain of losing a member is still fresh for most Sones, it looks like the Kpop idol is all set to launch her solo album. In a recent interview, the 26-year-old former SNSD member shares details about her upcoming plans and projects.

Jessica Jung may have suddenly left Girls' Generation in Sept. 2014, but Sones (SNSD fans) will always keep her in their hearts. It has been previously rumored that Jung is set to release a solo album after departing from the Kpop girl group under SM Entertainment.

Inquisitr recently reported that Jung seemingly confirmed that she is, indeed, working on a solo album, during an interview.

"I never said I was leaving the entertainment industry," Jung said.

While Jung continued to release songs for Korean drama series, fans are still looking forward to the day when the former SNSD member will release her very own solo album. Rumors about Jung's solo album started when she shared a photo of herself inside a recording studio in New York.

Jung was also rumored to have set up a meeting with Japanese singer, Itano Tomoni, who also left her own group AKB48 to pursue a solo career. Jung also noticeably followed a Japanese music producer on her Instagram account, which left many fans wondering if her solo album will be released in Japan.

While details about Jung's solo album have yet to be announced officially, Kpopstarz reported that Jung recently launched a line of skin care products under her own brand Blanc & Eclare. According to the outlet, the brand's skin care line includes a range of products under the Serein skin care collection.

The collection includes the Serein Luscious Lip Balm, which is said to smoothen and hydrate the skin without being too heavy on the budget.
